Delesto BV
Delesto BV, a 50%-50% joint venture, is a modern natural gas powered co-generation plant that provides steam and electricity to the various customers in the Chemie Park Delfzijl. 

Delesto supplies steam (700 tonnes/hr), electricity (530 MW/hr) and other utility products.

The products are supplied to many plants at the Chemical Park Delfzijl; however, the major part of the generated electricity is supplied to the public electricity network. By extensive application of the energy efficient combined heat and power technology, Delesto contributes significantly to alleviating the pressure on the environment at the Chemical Park Delfzijl.

Salinco VoF
Salinco VoF, also a 50%-50% joint venture, supplies electricity, steam, compressed air and water to its customers at the Hengelo site. 

Salinco supplies the steam (250 tonnes/hour) and power (80 MW) required to run the chemical processes on the Hengelo site. In addition to steam and electricity, Salinco also deals with the cooling water (6000 m3/hour). This is pumped from the Twente Canal and conducted through a closed cooling system so that it does not come into direct contact with the operating processes. The cooling water is returned to the canal after its temperature has been reduced in two cooling towers. Salinco also produces 5500 m3 of compressed air per hour.

Our Energy business operates both power plants on behalf of the joint-venture partners. Besides these joint ventures Energy operates a fully owned combined heating power plant in Rotterdam Botlek.
